Paramount+ has released a full trailer for the fourth season of “Tulsa King,” setting an Oct. 16 premiere for the crime drama led by Sylvester Stallone. The roughly two-minute clip arrived Sept. 29 and offered the first extended look at the coming episodes, along with new key art built around Stallone’s character. The series, created by Taylor Sheridan, follows a New York mafia figure who is released from prison and sent to Oklahoma, where he rebuilds a criminal operation far from the families that once controlled him. Stallone has anchored the show since its 2022 debut as one of the streamer’s marquee draws, and the fourth-season order keeps him at the center of the franchise.
In the new season, Stallone’s character, Dwight Manfredi, sees much of what he has built stripped away. The trailer shows authorities raiding his holdings, among them a casino, a distillery and a cannabis business, leaving him to start over once again. The footage leans on the defiance that has defined the character across three seasons. “Everything I own is gone,” Manfredi says in the clip, before promising that “bad things are going to happen to bad people.”
Terence Winter serves as showrunner alongside Sheridan, pairing two writers with long track records in television crime storytelling. Sheridan built the “Yellowstone” universe for Paramount and has expanded his output across the company’s platforms, becoming one of the most prolific creators in the business. Winter, a veteran of “The Sopranos” and the creator of “Boardwalk Empire,” has helped shape the tone of the series since taking over its day-to-day operations.
The season brings back a deep supporting cast. Martin Starr, Garrett Hedlund, Jay Will, Neal McDonough, Dana Delany and Annabella Sciorra all feature in the new episodes, continuing the ensemble that has grown around Stallone’s character. The mix of longtime players and recent additions reflects the show’s steady expansion of its Tulsa underworld.
“Tulsa King” has become a central piece of the Paramount+ original lineup, part of a broader slate of Sheridan-produced series that includes “Mayor of Kingstown” and the “Yellowstone” spinoffs. The Oct. 16 return positions the drama for a fall run as the streamer competes for subscribers against larger rivals. Stallone, who appeared at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington in 2025, remains the face of the franchise as it enters its fourth year on the service.
