Boost Health AI Unveils Healthcare AI Built to Improve Speed, Clarity, and Consistency in Payer Operations

NewsBoost Health AI Unveils Healthcare AI Built to Improve Speed, Clarity, and Consistency in Payer Operations

CHICAGO, IL Boost Health AI has unveiled a new healthcare AI offering built to help health plans improve speed, clarity, and consistency across payer operations. The company focuses on one of the most difficult parts of payer administration: the complex mix of policies, contracts, guidelines, templates, and tools that shape decisions across claims, compliance, utilization management, underwriting, and member engagement.

Boost Health AI says its technology helps payers turn that complexity into structured, auditable, and reusable decision intelligence. Rather than asking health plans to rely on black-box tools or isolated workflow products, the company is positioning its AI as a way to make payer logic more visible, usable, and easier to govern across the enterprise.

The company’s offering includes healthcare-specific AI Agents that can capture and structure payer rules from documents and other internal sources, then apply those rules across business processes. Boost says this can reduce manual interpretation, support more consistent decisions, and help plans move faster while maintaining transparency and control.

“Health plans are under growing pressure to make faster decisions while keeping those decisions consistent, traceable, and compliant,” said Raheel Retiwalla, Chief Product Officer of Boost Health AI. “We built Boost Health AI to help payers unlock the rulebook that already drives their business and turn it into intelligence they can actually use across the organization.”

Boost Health AI’s best-known solution combines its Extractor and Evaluator Agents. According to the company, Extractors capture and organize the language found in policies, contracts, and regulatory documents, while Evaluators analyze and apply that logic within payer workflows. Together, the two tools are intended to help remove repetitive manual work and create a more consistent operational foundation.

The company says this model can be applied across multiple high-value functions, including claims interpretation, compliance, utilization management, care planning, provider experience, and member engagement. Boost also states that its technology is built specifically for healthcare payers rather than adapted from a general-purpose AI framework.

Boost Health AI is emphasizing ownership as a central part of its offering. The company says clients can retain ownership and control of their AI, including the logic, rules, and decision assets developed through the system. That model is meant to appeal to health plans that want to avoid long-term dependency on external platforms and want a more durable base for future AI use.

“Too many healthcare organizations are still forced to work around fragmented rules that live in documents, spreadsheets, and people’s heads,” Retiwalla said. “Our goal is to give payers a clearer and more reliable way to use their own operational knowledge, so they can improve decisions without losing visibility into how those decisions are made.”

Boost Health AI says it has already generated early traction with healthcare payers, including Fortune 500 health plans, and that several organizations are actively using its AI accelerators while others are in procurement and onboarding stages. The company also says its library of healthcare AI solution blueprints now covers a range of payer functions, giving clients a way to begin with a focused use case and expand over time.

The launch comes as payers continue to face rising administrative burden, increasing regulatory complexity, and pressure to improve efficiency without sacrificing oversight. Boost Health AI says its technology is meant to support that need by creating a more structured and auditable foundation for decision-making.

Boost offers several deployment options, including SaaS, client cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments. The company says these options are intended to support enterprise security, compliance, and flexibility based on each client’s needs.
