Orderfox Schweiz AG announced that its market intelligence platform, Gieni AI, was featured at Microsoft Build 2025 as a reference integration for Microsoft’s new Model Context Protocol (MCP) in Copilot Studio.
Gieni AI is among the first vertical AI agents to offer an MCP Connector available in the Microsoft Marketplace. Through this integration, users can access market, competition, and risk intelligence directly inside Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word. The goal is to simplify access to actionable data by embedding insights within familiar enterprise software environments.
The MCP Connector enables Gieni AI to deliver industry-specific answers using a hybrid intelligence system. The platform combines structured and unstructured data from more than five million company profiles and analysis of over 380 million web pages. Gieni AI can generate real-time dashboards, detailed market reports, and enrich CRM tools such as Microsoft Dynamics with verified company data – all without requiring users to switch applications.
Timur Göreci, Chief Revenue Officer at Orderfox, said: “Our partnership with Microsoft brings unparalleled B2B market intelligence to Copilot users, streamlining research and delivering actionable insights in seconds, not weeks.”
During the Build 2025 conference, Microsoft highlighted Gieni AI as an example of how vertical AI agents can provide targeted insights and serve as an integrated part of enterprise workflows.
The integration allows business users to submit queries like identifying ESG-compliant suppliers in a particular region, tracking growth among competitors, or analyzing trends across industries. The information is processed and delivered in context, directly within the Microsoft 365 environment.
Derek Tanner, CEO of Orderfox, commented: “With CRM Booster embedded in Copilot, users gain immediate access to accurate company data, helping them prepare better and engage more effectively at every stage of the sales process.”
Gieni AI will soon be available to all Microsoft Copilot users, with licensing and billing through Microsoft’s enterprise platforms.
Industry analysts project rapid growth for this category of software. Gartner forecasts that vertical AI will feature in 40% of enterprise applications by 2027, up from fewer than 10% in 2024. The integration of Gieni AI reflects this trend, illustrating how companies are adopting domain-specific tools to improve the speed and accuracy of decision-making.
