Kenny Chesney announced on September 15, 2026 that he will return to an all-stadium format in 2027 with The Original Vibe Room Tour. The run is set for 20 dates across the United States between April and August of that year, moving through a series of large outdoor venues including several NFL stadiums. The announcement positions the outing as a full-scale return to the large-venue shows that have been a regular feature of Chesney’s touring career.
The tour carries a substantial supporting lineup. Eric Church and Sheryl Crow are both billed to perform throughout the run, giving each date a shared bill of established acts rather than a single opener. Country singer-songwriter Greylan James is set to open the shows. The combination pairs Chesney with two artists who have each headlined in their own right, broadening the appeal of the individual stops.
The route opens on April 24 in Tampa at Raymond James Stadium and works its way across the country over the following months. Scheduled stops include AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Soldier Field in Chicago, Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The itinerary closes with two nights at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on August 27 and 28, a venue Chesney has played repeatedly over the years.
Tickets were set to roll out in stages. An artist pre-sale was scheduled for September 17, with the general public on-sale following on September 25, both at 10 a.m. local time. Additional pre-sales were planned through SiriusXM, VIP package offers, the supporting acts and American Express, giving different groups of buyers access ahead of the wider release.
In discussing the plan, Chesney said he had decided to make the coming year center on stadium shows, pointing to responses from fans on social media as part of his thinking. The all-stadium approach revisits a model he has used across previous tours, when large summer dates formed the backbone of his live schedule. The 2027 run continues that pattern and sets up one of the larger country touring packages announced for the year.
