The Cartier Women’s Initiative gathered more than 700 guests at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok on June 10 for its annual awards ceremony, honoring the 2026 cohort of fellows recognized for their visionary work under the theme “Women Lighting the Path.”
The evening carried added significance, coinciding with the fellowship’s 20th anniversary. Alongside the awards, the celebration featured performances, leadership panels, and a keynote address from human rights lawyer, activist, and Clooney Foundation for Justice co-founder Amal Clooney.
Clooney used the moment to celebrate this year’s 30 fellows, describing them as a formidable group of women entrepreneurs driving change across a wide range of sectors. She appeared in a custom lilac Prada gown paired with Cartier jewels and a voluminous blowout styled by Dimitris Giannetos.
She went on to praise the program not only for advancing the careers of the women it supports but for fostering a lasting sisterhood built on mutual support and community. Addressing the honorees and the future ahead of them, she said she was certain the new cohort would carry that legacy forward.
